At Exquisite Royalty, we believe pageantry should be. a place where confidence grows, friendships flourish and every contestant feels valued and celebrated.
As our system continues to grow beyond the local level, we are committed to maintaining a positive, uplifting and professional environment for all contestants, families, directors, titleholders, and guests. Our standards and expectations are in place to protect the integrity of our organization and ensure a wonderful experience for everyone involved. By registering for an Exquisite Royalty event, all contestants, parents, gaurdians, titleholders, and representatives agree to uphold the following policies and expectations. OUR MISSION Since 2014, Exquisite Royalty has proudly stood by the belief that everyone deserves to feel like Royalty. We strive to create an atmosphere that encourages confidence, kindness, leadership, grave, service, and personal growth while providing a fun memorable pageant experience for all ages. SPORTSMANSHIP & CONDUCT Exquisite Royalty is built on kindness, encouragement, and respect. All contestants, families, guests, directors and titleholders are expected to: -Treat others with kindness and respect at all times. -Demonstrate good sportsmanship before, during and after competition. -Respect Judes' decisions and scoring. -Maintain a positive environment backstage and throughout the event. -Refrain from bullying, gossip, intimidation, harassment, or disruptive behavior. Unsportsmanlike conduct, disrespect toward staff or contestants, or behavior deemed harmful to the atmosphere or integrity of the system may result in disqualification, removal from the event, forfeiture of awards/titles or removal from future participation. PARENT & FAMILY EXPECTATIONS We understand pageantry is a family experience, and we value the support families provide to our contestants. Parents, gaurdians and guest are expected to: -Encourage ALL contestants positively. -Communicate respectfully with staff and our directors. -Avoid confrontational or disruptive behavior. -Handle Concerns privately an professionally through proper communication channels. Public attacks, online harassment, slander, threatening behavior or attempts to damage the reputation of contestants, judges, sponsors, directors or the Exquisite Royalty organization will not be tolerated. SOCIAL MEDIA POLICY: As a growing regional and national system, online representation matters. Contestants, titleholders, families and directors are expected to represent Exquisite Royalty in a respectful and positive manner on social media. The following may result in disciplinary action or title revocation. -Bullying or harassment. -Hate speech or discriminatory remarks. -Public drama or attacks involving the organization. -False accusations or intentionally misleading statements. -Inappropriate behavior while representing the system. -Altering offical branding, titles, or images in misleading ways. We encourage our queens and families to use their platforms to inspire, uplift and encourage others. TITLEHOLDER EXPECTATIONS: This is an important section to take note of before continuing on in your decision to pursue and Exquisite Royalty Title. Winning an Exquisite Royalty title means becoming a representative of our organization and our values. Our titles, are working titles, you are required to complete the set amount of community service and appearances. Title holders are expected to: -Represent Exquisite Royalty with kindness, professionalism, and integrity. -Promote the system positively throughout their reign. -Support fellow queens and contestants. -Participate in appearances and activities when possible. -Maintain communication with directors -Conduct themselves respectfully both in person and online. Titles may be revoked at the discretion of the national office for behavior deemed harmful to the organization or inconsistent with the values of Exquisite Royalty. DIRECTOR EXPECTATIONS: All state, regional and affiliate directors are expected to uphold the standards and reputation of the Exquisite Royalty Pageant System. REGISTRATION & COMPETITION POLICIES -Entry fees are non-refundable and non-transferable unless otherwise stated by the system. -Contestants must compete in the correct age division based on the system's stated cutoff date. -Contestants must meet all deadlines for registration, paperwork, photos, and payments. -Judge's decisions are final. -All rules and stipulations for appearance must be followed. 0-3 we do not allow make up or flippers. -Contestants and guests are expected to follow venue rules and staff instructions at all times. -Poor backstage behavior or misconduct may affect eligibility for awards or titles. PHOTOGRAPHY & MEDIA RELEASE By participating in Exquisite Royalty events, contestants and families grant permission for photographs, videos, and media taken during events to be used by Exquisite Royalty for promotional, marketing, website and social media purposes without compensation. AWARDS, CROWNS & PRIZES Awards, gifts, prizes and sponsored items may vary by event and sponsor availability. Titleholders are responsible for the care of crowns, banners, and official titleholder items during their reign. Replacement fees may apply for lost or damaged items. Exquisite Royalty reserves the right to revoke titles, awards, or prizes if a contestant or titleholder violates system policies or conducts themselves in a manner inconsistent with the values of the system. FINAL STATEMENT At Exquisite Royalty, we are more than crowns and titles. We are a family built on encouragement, confidence, leadership, and heart. Our Goal is for every contestant to leave our stage feeling seen, celebrated, empowered and proud of who they are.
